1. Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?
It could, honestly. Most designers will tell you redirects protect your rankings. We believed that too, until we didn’t. Squarespace and Google have a mind of their own, so if you already have solid traffic to your site, we can often build within your current website behind the scenes. If you don’t have much traffic, it could be worth starting fresh.
2. Do I own my website and content when we're done?
Yes, it’s 100% yours upon completion of payment and will live in your personal Squarespace account. Squarespace is our-go to platform for 3 reasons: You own it when it’s complete (no holding your site hostage); It’s user-friendly enough for you to update it as your practice grows; No maintenance fees beyond your Squarespace subscription (saving you $500-$1K/year). Use the savings for your marketing instead!
3. How long does it take?
3-4 weeks from kick-off to launch (assuming you meet the deadlines we set together), Most of that time is ours, with your approvals on a few calls.
4. What's the difference between a new website & website optimization?
A new website is a rebuild. Optimization improves the site you already have (assuming you have a solid foundation and traffic). If you're proud of how your site looks and it still isn't booking consults, you likely want optimization. If you cringe when you send someone the link, it may be time for a new site.
