1. What platform will my website be built on, and will I own it after?
We build functional and integrative medicine websites on Squarespace, for 3 reasons: you own it outright when it's complete, it's user-friendly enough for you to update as your practice grows, and there are no maintenance fees beyond your Squarespace subscription, saving you $500–$1K/year ves. WordPress. Put that toward your marketing instead.
2. How does payment work?
50% up front, 50% at 30 days. We do the heavy lifting as soon as your project begins, which is why the first half is due at kickoff. Need a payment plan? Just ask.
3. Do I write my own website copy?
Only if you want to. Complete copywriting is included in 2 out of 3 website packages (most functional medicine practitioners prefer us to write). If you'd rather write your own, we give you a detailed copywriting guide.
4. Do you only work with functional and integrative medicine practices?
Absolutely. The site we create is a strong structure from which you can expand as much as you want, with or without our help. This will be part of the training you receive when we launch your website.
5. Will my website be optimized for search engines (Google, ChatGPT)?
Every website package includes SEO & GEO (AI search) setup so clients can find you in search (SEO-optimized copywriting on every page, blog and FAQ structure, and submission to Google), so patients can find you in both traditional search and AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity. Want to move faster, we offer advanced SEO & GEO as an add-on. See Website Services
6. Will a website redesign hurt my current Google rankings?
This is a common fear among established practices, and it's not unfounded. Google IS finicky, and any change to your page structure can move your rankings. There's no single fix that works for every site. If you have pages that currently rank well, we look at those specifically before we design anything and build the plan around protecting them. We'll walk you through exactly what that looks like for your practice on the consult.
